METAL FORD
Stretching 440 miles, The Natchez Trace Parkway is one of the most scenic routes of the south. Metal Ford is an old trade crossing on The Natchez Trace in Hohenwald, TN. Located just south of the Meriwether Lewis Memorial exit on The Natchez Trace Parkway, near Hwy 20 or near the end of Railroad Bed Road. A well marked companion trail leads north from the Metal Ford area of the water. Parking is easy and close. Trash cans and charcoal grills on site.
